On the evening of Tuesday, September 29th from 6 pm to 9 pm, foodies around Chicagoland are invited to take a flavor journey through a vast array of cuisines while exploring exciting Wicker Park and Bucktown.
This year, the Chamber offers “passport holders” four self-guided treks that showcase the neighborhood’s diverse offerings, from barbecue to vegan. Dinner crawlers are invited to stroll along the sidewalks and sample food and drink from 30 restaurants, both neighborhood newcomers and time-tested favorites.
“Wicker Park and Bucktown are home to some of the most amazing restaurants and talented chefs in Chicago,” said Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce Director Erik Harmon. “Our signature Fall Dinner Crawl presents a rare, and affordable, opportunity to experience all the best the neighborhood has to offer on a single evening.”
ROUTES: KNIFE / FORK / SPOON / PLATE
Participating restaurants in Wicker Park and Bucktown are divided into four routes, dubbed Fork, Knife, Spoon and new this year, Plate. Dinner crawlers can purchase a ticket(s) for the route(s) they most desire. Menus will be provided with each Fall Dinner Crawl passport, which can be picked up the day-of or in advance of the Fall Dinner Crawl (see ticket and passport details below). Menus are also available now online.
There are still limited tickets available for the 4th annual Wicker Park Bucktown Fall Dinner Crawl presented by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are on sale for $30 per route by clicking here. Additionally, a special Spoon and Plate Route Combo Package gives dinner crawlers access to all Division Street restaurants during the event for just $45 total. Guests can pick and choose which restaurants they want to try, or visit them all.
Ticket confirmation from Brown Paper Tickets serves only as proof-of-purchase. To redeem purchase for tasting samples along the selected route(s), purchasers will need to pick up the 2015 WPB Fall Dinner Crawl Passport. Only the Dinner Crawl Passport will be accepted at participating restaurants.
Advance passport pick-up will be at Jackson Junge Gallery (1389 N Milwaukee) on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 12-5pm or Sunday, Sept. 27th from 11am-8pm. On the day of the event, Sept. 29, ticket holders can pick up their passport(s) at Jackson Junge Gallery, Intelligentsia (1609 W. Division), or the Flat Iron Arts Building (1579 N. Milwaukee). Purchasers will be notified of their assigned pick-up location via email. To pick up a passport or passports, the purchaser must present proof-of-purchase and photo ID.
Hope to see you there. Until next time…
