The Wait is Over! Spring Pre-Sale Tickets for Chicago Gourmet 2015 Available April 16

This interactive, two-day epicurean affair showcases more than 150 of Chicago’s finest restaurants and chefs, as well as hundreds of renowned vintners, spirit makers and premium breweries from around the world. It also features dozens of live cooking demonstrations, gourmet tastings, wine seminars, and book signings by internationally renowned chefs, master sommeliers and winemakers.

Highly anticipated spring pre-sale tickets for the eighth annual Bon Appétit presents Chicago Gourmet 2015 go on sale Thursday, April 16 at 10 a.m. CST at www.chicagogourmet.org. While supplies last, tickets will be available at $135 per person, per day, or $225 per person for a Weekend Pass. This pricing represents a substantial savings over regularly priced tickets, which are $170 per person, per day, or $275 per person for a Weekend Pass.

This year’s impressive talent roster includes more than 150 chefs and restaurants including not-to-be-missed celebrity headliners – who will grace Chicago Gourmet’s culinary stages, sign their books and share their food, passion and expertise throughout the weekend – including April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig, The Breslin); Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill, Topolobampo, XOCO); Tony Mantuano (Spiaggia, Cafe Spiaggia, Bar Toma, Terzo Piano, River Roast); Jose Garces (Mercat a la Planxa, Rural Society); Takashi Yagihashi (Slurping Turtle); Jimmy Bannos Jr. (The Purple Pig); Carlos Gaytan (Mexique); Adam Rapoport and Andrew Knowlton (Bon Appétit magazine); and countless others.

Master Sommelier Serafin Alvarado and Mixology Masters Bridget Albert and Debbi Peek of Southern Wine & Spirits of Illinois also return in 2015. The Chicago Gourmet veterans will curate a series of educational wine and cocktail seminars that speak to today’s beverage trends, as well as present an impeccable lineup of the world’s finest vintages at the Grand Cru.
