This year’s impressive talent roster includes more than 150 chefs and restaurants including not-to-be-missed celebrity headliners – who will grace Chicago Gourmet’s culinary stages, sign their books and share their food, passion and expertise throughout the weekend – including April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig, The Breslin); Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill, Topolobampo, XOCO); Tony Mantuano (Spiaggia, Cafe Spiaggia, Bar Toma, Terzo Piano, River Roast); Jose Garces (Mercat a la Planxa, Rural Society); Takashi Yagihashi (Slurping Turtle); Jimmy Bannos Jr. (The Purple Pig); Carlos Gaytan (Mexique); Adam Rapoport and Andrew Knowlton (Bon Appétit magazine); and countless others.
Master Sommelier Serafin Alvarado and Mixology Masters Bridget Albert and Debbi Peek of Southern Wine & Spirits of Illinois also return in 2015. The Chicago Gourmet veterans will curate a series of educational wine and cocktail seminars that speak to today’s beverage trends, as well as present an impeccable lineup of the world’s finest vintages at the Grand Cru.
Until next time… Salud!
