With Fall quickly approaching and the wedding season nearing it’s end, Chicago venues are getting prepared for holiday parties and industry soirees. I, along with other wedding industry professionals in Chicago, had the pleasure of attending Waldorf Astoria Chicago’s Fall Menu preview yesterday evening.
We were introduced to their new Executive Chef, Herve Cuyeu as well as their new Executive Sous Chef for Events, Michelle Wolforth, who have both recently joined the Waldorf Astoria team. We also were given samples of their newest culinary inspirations for the upcoming season. All was simply wonderful.
This was an absolute wonderful experience, Class A service and the space f/k/a the RIA is available to host small intimate gatherings, corporate holiday parties, bridal showers or even an after the wedding brunch.
Master mixologist, Tom Hogan, served up inventive signature cocktails for the holidays. We were also graced with a wonderful array of different Fall inspired “apple” desserts (apple fritters, apple pie tart, chocolate covered apples, just to name a few).
At the end of this experience as a token of Thanks from the catering staff at Waldorf Astoria Chicago, we were all given a bottle of champagne.
